DEKAI - The West Papua National Liberation Army (TPNPB) states full responsibility for the burning action of one unit of State Junior High School (SMPN) 2 Dekai building in Yahukimo Regency.
This cleansing operation of the Indonesian government assets takes place under the control of the Defense Regional Command (Kodap) XVI Yahukimo from the Wekon Battalion and the Edensawit Battalion.
"The burning of the school building was carried out under the orders of myself along with Lampion Heluka on Friday, May 22, 2026," said Major Mackar Sobolim, Saturday (23/5/2026).
Similar actions against public facilities and all assets of the Indonesian government are called mandatory to be expanded throughout the Land of Papua.
This extreme step was taken because the Indonesian military is accused of often transforming school buildings into defense posts or headquarters of security forces. This condition is assessed to force the young generation of Papua to accept the doctrine of nationalism which is considered to damage the order of Papuan customs and traditions.
Major Mackar Sobolim calls for firm instructions to all lines of armed forces from the city to the remote villages. That the assets of the colonial government, office buildings, banking facilities, to shops owned by immigrant citizens are called to be the main targets of the destruction operation.
The existence of all economic facilities and civil administration is assessed to be the main instrument in prolonging the occupation system on the Land of Papua.
Meanwhile, a total boycott instruction is also enforced against all distribution channels of logistics and building material supplies.
All TPNPB forces have even been ordered to carry out direct attacks on land vehicles as well as passing air fleets.
The targets of the operation include material transport trucks, food supplies, as well as all movements of logistics belonging to the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).
The distribution of military supplies through the Trans Papua route and pioneer flight routes is now under the threat of strict weapon surveillance.
In a separate place, the Management of the Central Headquarters of the National Command (KOMNAS) TPNPB states this open war becomes a part of the strategy to break the chain of colonial administration.
Regent office buildings, governor office buildings, to other vital state facilities are mandated to be burned down without exception.
This step is felt urgent for the sake of paralyzing the wheels of the foreign government operating on the customary territory of West Papua.
Sebby Sambom, Spokesperson of KOMNAS TPNPB, states this mobilization instruction applies bindingly for the 36 Defense Regional Commands.
TPNPB has even instructed the readiness of all defense battalions to intensify armed attacks in some time ahead.
The logistics system and air defense of the Indonesian military are predicted to continue experiencing operational disruptions due to this increasing escalation of conflict.
The armed conflict in the central highlands region of Papua is estimated to get increasingly heated along with the expansion of public infrastructure sabotage targets. "We call on all forces to ambush and shoot every supply of Indonesian military needs entering through land as well as air routes," stressed Sebby Sambom. (One Papua)
